How to edit or delete a production unit in the app?

This section explains how to edit or remove a production unit or plot from the abunda mobile app.

Access from the hamburger menu ☰

From the hamburger menu ☰ , select the production unit or plot you want to edit or remove.

Scroll down

Once inside the production unit or plot, scroll down to the bottom of the screen. You will see two buttons:

• Edit production unit (or Edit plot)
• Deactivate production unit (or Deactivate plot)
  

Edit

When you tap Edit, you can modify the available fields, such as:

• The name of the production unit or plot
• The entry date in the system

To save your changes, tap the green confirmation button. If you don’t want to save, you can cancel with the orange button.

Deactivate or remove

When you tap Deactivate, a first confirmation window will appear, indicating that you are about to deactivate the production unit or plot.

• Tap Accept to continue or Cancel to exit.
• Then, a second window will appear where you must choose between:
  • Deactivate: the unit or plot is marked as inactive but remains linked to the producer.
  • Remove: the unit or plot is unlinked from the producer and stays inactive, so it can be reassigned to this or another producer later.

Add a reason

Before saving, you must enter a reason for the deactivation or removal (e.g., “Sold”, “No longer used”, etc.). This field is required.
Finally, tap the green button to confirm the action.
