How to give necessary permissions to the abunda application

When opening the app for the first time, you must select your preferred language:


To ensure the abunda app works correctly, all necessary permissions must be granted. The app will request these permissions automatically. If you want to modify them manually, go to:
Settings > Apps > Manage apps > abunda ics

The app requires the following permissions:

Location Access

To use the GPS service during inspections, you must select precise location, choose "while the app is in use", and then select "allow all the time".
 

Camera Access

To be able to take photos during an inspection.
Choose: while the app is in use


Notifications

Select: allow

Storage Access

To access and view previously taken images.
Select: allow


Unrestricted Battery Usage

Important: Activating this option is essential!

Android automatically shuts down background services to save battery. However, the app needs certain services like GPS to run continuously during inspections.
You must go into Android Settings, and in the battery saving settings, remove any restrictions. Unfortunately, this configuration may vary depending on the device manufacturer and Android version. Below, we show the most common screens. If you’re unable to disable battery optimization, you can create a support ticket and we’ll help you.



Option 1:

Settings > Apps > Manage apps > abunda ics >
Battery saver > No restrictions
  

Option 2:

Settings > Search: Battery optimization


Then:
Filter: All apps


In the abunda ics app, select Don’t allow so that battery optimization doesn’t shut down the services used by abunda ics.
